The New York Convention, 1958,embodies the instrument based on which foreign arbitral awards are recognized and enforced in a state different than the one where the award was rendered. Through it’s requirements, the Convention succeeds in creating an international uniform system regarding the cross-border efficiencyof international arbitration.
