Dolj Bar, subconsultant of ADR Center (Italy), in a project proposal submitted to the Ministry of Justice
Today, August 10, representatives of the Dolj Bar submitted to the Ministry of Justice the documents of the proposal of the main consultant ADR Center srl Roma, in sub-consultancy with ADR Center Romania and the Dolj Bar, for the project “Consulting services for assessment and improvement of legal frameworks regarding legal aid and mediation”, financed by the World Bank.
The main objective of the project is to carry out an ex post evaluation of the current legal framework regarding public legal aid and mediation, in order to propose legislative amendments, with the aim of increasing access to justice.
About the partners of the Dolj Bar in this project:
ADR Center srl (principal consultant), founded in 1998 and based in Rome (Italy), is a leading European institution specialized in alternative dispute resolution, with over 27 years of experience in providing mediation services, mediation policy consultancy, assistance in drafting normative acts, legal research, capacity building and institutional reform. ADR Center has carried out projects for the World Bank, the European Commission, the Council of Europe and the Inter-American Development Bank, manages a network of 84 dispute resolution centers in Italy and developed the ODR Center cloud platform for online dispute resolution.
ADR Center Romania (sub-consultant) manages a national network of training service providers in the field of mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). ADR Center Romania is also a core member of the global ADR Center network, with extensive experience in similar projects, financed by the European Social Fund.
